How to license hard and heavy music
through Sounds Of
Action dot com
We're keeping it easy and simple. We certainly know how to draft
a contract with
multiple pages, but we managed to keep our licensing agreement
to one single page.
You name it, we draft it, we send it, you sign it. There you go.
It's fast
There's no "we need to think this over". All the music
is ready to go with all rights
cleared.
The agreement
We've mentioned it above. One single page with all the facts.
Print it, sign it, send it.
Fees
Licensing fees are reasonable. For both sides. We don't like
being that imprecise, but
all fees depend on the type of use such as territory, units,
range, prominence of the
music etc. Please explain your case and we'll name a price. Then
try to negotiate.
Delivery
We can easily eMail you mp3 files in whatever resolution you
desire. Our standard
format is .wav (44.1 kHz, 16 bit). Once we've got a deal we will
provide a link to
our server where you can download the licensed track. Being
old-school is not
un-cool, so we can still send you cds and dvds.
Payment
We prefer PayPal, but we're fine with regular transfers too. As
for now we cannot
accept credit cards. Of course, you will receive a professional
invoice.
Cue Sheets
Yes, you will have to file them. We all want our backend
royalties. So we have
incorporated that in our licensing agreement. We think it's just
fair.
Let's watch it
We're curious about watching your project that features our
music. If you can, please
let us know when and where we can check it out. We appreciate
that!
10% off vouchers
Once you have licensed a song, we will send you a nice looking
personalized certificate
that grants you 10% off your next "purchase" within
three months.
Not sure? Questions unanswered?
Then please call us or send an eMail to contact (@)
soundsofaction.com and ask us
whatever you'd like to know. We've got the answers...
Attention publishers and music libraries:
You can add single songs and full albums to your repertoire and
sub-license them.
Please
eMail us about sub-licensing!
